Joey King leads teen comedy ensemble in tubi original ‘Camp’

Tubi’s latest Original is dropping this weekend! Camp features a stacked cast of young actors including Joey King (The Kissing Booth, Bullet Train), Nolan Gould (Modern Family, The To Do List), Annalise Basso (Snowpiercer, Captain Fantastic), Sierra McCormick (The Vast of Night, Last Stop at Yuma County), Mychala Lee (The Spiderwick Chronicles), Brendan Meyer (The OA, Color Out of Space), Ian Nelson (The Boy Next Door, Summer Night), Teo Halm (Earth to Echo), as well as veteran comedians Jason & Randy Sklar (What We Do in the Shadows).

The film is an energetic coming-of-age story following a group of teenagers as they navigate friendship, romance, and betrayal in their final year of sleepaway camp. It was directed by Joshua Yunis and written by Jason Romaine, David Kirkeby and Sarah Jean Kruchowski.

Stuck in post-production limbo throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the release has been a long time coming. “It’s been such a crazy journey but I’m grateful to have found partners to help the film finally get out into the world,” Yunis said. “It’s an amazingly talented cast and crew and we had a blast making it.”
